Day-wise plan

Day 1 – Mysore to Coorg: Start from Mysore with a scenic drive to Coorg, often called the "Scotland of India". After hotel check-in, visit Raja's Tomb, Omkareshwara Temple and Abbey Falls, then the Brahmagiri Hills and Talacauvery. Enjoy a coffee plantation tour with a tasting session.

Day 2 – Coorg: Visit Nisargadhama, an island formed by the River Kaveri and known for its bamboo groves, and explore more coffee estates in the peaceful surroundings. Overnight in Coorg.

Day 3 – Coorg to Mysore: Drive back to Mysore, visit Mysore Palace and Mysore Zoo, and stay overnight in Mysore.

Day 4 – Mysore sightseeing and departure: Visit Brindavan Gardens and Krishna Raja Sagar Dam, Chamundeshwari Temple and St. Philomena's Church, followed by your departure.

What to know before you book

Day 1 is long, because Talacauvery and Brahmagiri are a fair distance from Madikeri. Starting early helps, and some of it may involve climbing steps.
Chamundeshwari Temple and other temples may have a dress code and queues, especially on weekends and festival days.
Mysore Zoo has a weekly closing day, and Brindavan Gardens timings can vary by season. We will confirm before you travel.
Brindavan Gardens is usually best in the evening, so please ask us how your timings are planned.
Coorg roads are winding, so carry medicines if you get motion sickness, and a light jacket for cool mornings.

Best time to visit Coorg and Mysore

October to March is the most comfortable season, with cooler weather and clear views. Coffee harvest in Coorg usually runs from roughly November to February. June to September is the monsoon: Coorg is very green and the waterfalls are full, but heavy rain can affect sightseeing and roads. April and May are warmer, especially in Mysore.

Day 01: ARRIVAL MYSORE – COORG

Upon arrival at Mysore Airport, our representative will transfer you to Coorg and your hotel. After check-in, proceed for sightseeing including Raja’s Tomb, a hilltop site with royal tombs, gardens, and city views. Visit Omkareshwara Temple, Abbey Waterfalls, Brahmagiri Hill, and Talacauvery. Later, enjoy a coffee plantation tour and tasting session. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: COORG

After breakfast, check out and visit Nisargadhama Island, a peaceful spot formed by the River Kaveri with activities like boating and nature walks. Continue to Coffeeland Estate for scenic views and insights into coffee cultivation. Later, visit Brahmagiri Hill to enjoy the views of the Western Ghats. Check in to the hotel, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: COORG - MYSORE

After breakfast, transfer to Mysore and check in to the hotel. Proceed to visit Mysore Palace and Mysore Zoo. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04: DEPARTURE

After breakfast, visit Brindavan Gardens, Krishna Raja Sagar Dam, Chamundeshwari Temple, and St. Philomena’s Church. Later, transfer to Mysore Airport/railway station for your onward journey.
