Day 01: ARRIVAL - GANGTOK
Upon your arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, the beautiful capital of Sikkim. Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush Himalayan foothills, winding mountain roads, charming villages, and alongside the picturesque Teesta River. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure exploring the nearby markets or simply soaking in the pleasant mountain atmosphere (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 02: EXCURSION TO TSONGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake situated at an altitude of approximately 15,100 feet. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the lake offers spectacular Himalayan views and is an ideal spot for photography. Guests may also enjoy an optional yak ride around the lake. Continue your journey to the revered New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, located at an altitude of approximately 15,200 feet, where visitors pay homage to the legendary Indian Army soldier. After spending quality time amidst the serene mountain landscapes, return to Gangtok by evening (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Gangtok. Note: Visits to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir are subject to permit approval from the Tourism Department and prevailing weather conditions. During heavy snowfall, vehicles will be permitted only up to the designated Snow Point.
Day 03: GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, set out on an exciting sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the scenic Tashi Viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga, followed by the peaceful hilltop temples of Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok. Continue to the vibrant Flower Exhibition Centre, showcasing a beautiful collection of seasonal flowers and orchids. Explore the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Cottage Industry), where you can witness traditional Sikkimese craftsmanship and local handicrafts (closed on Sundays and the 1st & 3rd Saturdays). Later, visit the renowned Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), home to rare Buddhist manuscripts and artifacts, followed by the sacred Do Drul Chorten, one of Sikkim's most important Buddhist stupas. Conclude your sightseeing at the picturesque Banjhakri Waterfalls, surrounded by lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens. Return to your hotel in the evening (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 04: GANGTOK – DARJEELING
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Darjeeling, the world-famous "Queen of the Hills." Enjoy a scenic drive through winding mountain roads, lush tea estates, dense forests, and charming hillside villages. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and relax. The remainder of the day is free to explore the nearby markets, enjoy the cool mountain climate, or take a leisurely stroll around the town (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 05: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Begin your day early with a visit to the famous Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga. On your return journey, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the iconic Batasia Loop, known for its beautifully landscaped gardens and panoramic Himalayan views. Return to the hotel for breakfast before continuing your sightseeing tour. Visit the serene Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, followed by the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays) and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays). Later, explore Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and enjoy an outer view of the famous Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Return to the hotel in the evening after a memorable day of sightseeing (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 06: DARJEELING – NJP RAILWAY STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and bid farewell to the enchanting hills of Darjeeling. Proceed towards New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As your memorable Himalayan holiday comes to an end, carry home unforgettable memories of breathtaking mountain landscapes, serene monasteries, vibrant culture, and the timeless charm of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
