Day 01: ARRIVAL - GANGTOK
Upon your arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, the beautiful capital of Sikkim. Enjoy a picturesque drive through the Himalayan foothills, winding mountain roads, lush forests, and alongside the scenic Teesta River. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, exploring the nearby markets or simply enjoying the pleasant weather. Overnight stay in Gangtok. (Sightseeing as per time compulsion)
Day 02: EXCURSION TO TSONGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR
After an early breakfast, proceed on a memorable excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake situated at an altitude of approximately 15,100 feet. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the lake offers spectacular views and an opportunity to enjoy optional yak rides. Continue to the sacred New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, located at an altitude of around 15,200 feet, where visitors pay homage to the legendary Indian Army soldier. After spending quality time amidst the serene Himalayan landscape, return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok. (Sightseeing as per time compulsion) Note: Visits to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir are subject to weather conditions and permit approvals from the Tourism Department. During heavy snowfall, vehicles will only be permitted up to the designated Snow Point
Day 03: GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After a delightful breakfast, set out to explore the charming city of Gangtok on a half-day sightseeing tour. Begin your journey with a visit to Tashi Viewpoint, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga and the surrounding Himalayan ranges. Continue to the peaceful Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, two revered hilltop temples known for their spiritual ambiance and spectacular viewpoints. Later, visit the vibrant Flower Exhibition Centre, where a colorful display of seasonal flowers and exotic orchids adds to the beauty of the city. Explore the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Cottage Industry) to witness traditional Sikkimese craftsmanship and locally made handicrafts (closed on Sundays and the 1st & 3rd Saturdays). Continue to the renowned Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), home to an impressive collection of rare Buddhist manuscripts, ancient artifacts, and Tibetan cultural exhibits. Visit the sacred Do Drul Chorten, one of Sikkim's most important Buddhist stupas, before concluding your tour at the picturesque Banjhakri Waterfalls, a beautifully landscaped park featuring cascading waterfalls, lush greenery, and statues depicting local folklore. Day 04: GANGTOK – NAMCHI – RAVANGLA – PELLING
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Pelling, one of Sikkim's most scenic hill stations. En route, visit the famous Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham) at Namchi, known for its impressive replicas of India's sacred pilgrimage sites and panoramic Himalayan views. Continue to Ravangla to explore the magnificent Buddha Park, featuring a towering Buddha statue amidst beautifully landscaped gardens and tranquil surroundings. Later, continue your journey to Pelling. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Pelling. (Sightseeing as per time compulsion)
Day 05: PELLING FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the picturesque Rimbi Waterfalls and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, believed to fulfill the wishes of devotees. Continue to the majestic Khangchendzonga Waterfalls before visiting the famous Skywalk and the towering Chenrezig Statue, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Later, explore the historic Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim, followed by the ancient Rabdentse Ruins, which once served as the capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim. If time permits, enjoy a visit to the Pelling Bird Sanctuary, a paradise for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts. Return to the hotel after sightseeing. Overnight stay in Pelling. Day 06: PELLING – DARJEELING
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards the charming hill station of Darjeeling, fondly known as the "Queen of the Hills." Enjoy the scenic journey through lush forests, tea plantations, and beautiful mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may choose to explore the vibrant Mall Road, shop for local handicrafts, or simply relax while enjoying the pleasant weather. Overnight stay in Darjeeling. (Sightseeing as per time compulsion)
Day 07: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early in the morning, drive to Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga. On your return journey, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the famous Batasia Loop, known for its panoramic mountain views and unique railway engineering. Return to the hotel for breakfast before continuing your city tour. Visit the serene Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, followed by the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays) and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays). Later, visit Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and enjoy an outer view of the famous Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Return to the hotel in the evening. Day 08: DARJEELING - DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and bid farewell to the beautiful hills of Darjeeling. Drive to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
