This 4 Days / 3 Nights getaway takes you through the scenic beauty of Shillong, the dramatic landscapes of Cherrapunjee, the pristine waters of Dawki, and the picturesque village of Mawlynnong. Surrounded by clouds, nature, and tranquility at every turn, this journey offers an extraordinary blend of exploration, relaxation, and cultural discovery, making it one of Northeast India's most captivating travel experiences.

Day 01: GUWAHATI – KAMAKHYA TEMPLE – SHILLONG

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your journey with a visit to the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. After seeking blessings, proceed towards Shillong, famously known as the "Scotland of the East." En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani), where you can admire the stunning views of the vast reservoir surrounded by rolling hills and enjoy optional water sports activities. Upon reaching Shillong, check in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the lively Police Bazaar, a popular shopping and entertainment hub known for its local handicrafts, street food, and vibrant atmosphere. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 02: CHERRAPUNJEE SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, lush greenery, and status as one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the beautiful Eco Park, the majestic Dainthlen Falls, the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls, and the famous Seven Sisters Falls, each offering mesmerizing views of the surrounding valleys. Explore the fascinating Mawsmai Cave with its natural limestone formations and visit Thangkharang Park, which offers panoramic views of the Bangladesh plains. Later, return to Shillong and visit the enchanting Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak, the highest point in Meghalaya, offering magnificent views of the city and surrounding hills. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 03: MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI

After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong Village, popularly known as the cleanest village in Asia. Stroll through its beautifully maintained pathways lined with colorful flowers and experience the unique lifestyle of the local Khasi community. Visit the famous Living Root Bridge, a remarkable natural wonder created by intertwining tree roots, and witness the fascinating Balancing Rock, a unique geological formation. Later, continue to Dawki, a charming border town famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Enjoy a memorable boat ride on the transparent river, where boats appear to float in the air due to the exceptional clarity of the water. After exploring the scenic beauty of Dawki and the Indo-Bangladesh border area, return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 04: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI DEPARTURE

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Guwahati. Enjoy the scenic drive through the picturesque hills and valleys of Meghalaya while reminiscing about the unforgettable experiences of your tour. Upon arrival in Guwahati, transfer to the Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with cherished memories of the beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, rivers, and cultural heritage of Meghalaya.

Kamakhya Temple Timings: 08 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm

Kaziranga National Park: It has different ranges: Kohora (Central Range), Bagori (Western Range), Agoratoli (Eastern Range), Burapahar (Ghoraketi Range)

Jeep Safari Timings: 07:30 am to 09:30 am and 02 pm to 04 pm. (Available from November to April)

Elephant Safari Timings: 05:15 am to 06:15 am and 06:30 am to 07:30 am. (Available from November to April).

Cherrapunjee Hotels: Most of the hotels in Cherrapunjee are not categorized as 3* / 4*.

50 % Balance Payment prior 15 days to travel date.

More than 45 days prior to our start date: 15% of full tour cost retained

44 – 20 days prior to our start date: 20% of full tour cost retained.

19 – 10 days prior to our start date: 50% of full tour cost retained

09 – 06 days prior to our start date: 75% of full tour cost retained.

05 – 00 days prior to our start date: 100% of full tour cost retained.

No show: 100% of full tour cost retained.
