Day 01: ARRIVAL MADURAI – TEMPLE CITY TOUR
Upon arrival at Madurai Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in and refreshment, proceed for a city tour of Madurai, one of the oldest cultural and spiritual centers of South India. Visit the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple, renowned for its stunning Dravidian architecture and vibrant sculptures. Later, explore the historic Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, known for its grand pillars and Indo-Saracenic design. You may also visit the Gandhi Memorial Museum and enjoy shopping at the bustling Puthu Mandapam Market, famous for silk sarees, handicrafts, and local souvenirs. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 02: MADURAI – RAMESWARAM
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the sacred island town of Rameswaram. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Later, visit the revered Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, known for its majestic corridors and holy theerthams. Continue to Agni Theertham Beach, a sacred seashore where pilgrims take holy dips, and visit the Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, famous for its floating stones associated with the Ram Setu legend. Evening free for darshan or a leisurely walk around the town. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Day 03: RAMESWARAM SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Rameswaram. Visit the iconic Pamban Bridge, India's first sea bridge offering breathtaking views of the coastline. Proceed to Dhanushkodi, the mystical ghost town located at the tip of the island, known for its pristine beaches, cyclone ruins, and views of the legendary Ram Setu. En route, visit the Kothandaramaswamy Temple and the APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial, dedicated to India's former President. Spend the evening at leisure exploring local markets and coastal surroundings. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Day 04: RAMESWARAM – MADURAI DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Madurai. Depending on flight timings, visit Alagar Kovil Temple or Koodal Azhagar Temple, both known for their architectural beauty and religious significance. Later, transfer to Madurai Airport for your onward journey with cherished memories of this spiritual and cultural getaway.
