Day 01: ARRIVAL – GANGTOK
Upon your arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, the vibrant capital of Sikkim. Enjoy a picturesque drive through the Himalayan foothills, winding mountain roads, lush forests, charming villages, and alongside the beautiful Teesta River. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the nearby markets or simply enjoying the refreshing mountain atmosphere (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 02: EXCURSION TO TSONGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake situated at an altitude of approximately 15,100 feet. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the lake is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and mesmerizing Himalayan scenery. Guests may enjoy an optional yak ride and capture unforgettable photographs amidst the pristine surroundings. Continue to the revered New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, located at an altitude of approximately 15,200 feet, where visitors pay homage to the legendary Indian Army soldier. After spending quality time amidst the serene mountain landscapes, return to Gangtok by evening (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Gangtok. Note: Visits to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir are subject to permit approval from the Tourism Department and prevailing weather conditions. During heavy snowfall, vehicles will be permitted only up to the designated Snow Point.
Day 03: GANGTOK HALF-DAY SIGHTSEEING – DARJEELING
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the colorful Flower Exhibition Centre, showcasing a beautiful collection of Himalayan flowers and orchids. Continue to the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Cottage Industry), where you can admire traditional Sikkimese handicrafts and local artwork (subject to operating timings). Explore the renowned Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, home to rare Buddhist manuscripts, ancient artifacts, and rich Tibetan heritage (subject to operating timings). Visit the sacred Do Drul Chorten, one of Sikkim's most important Buddhist stupas, before enjoying an optional Ropeway ride (at your own cost), offering spectacular aerial views of Gangtok and the surrounding hills. Later, proceed towards Darjeeling, famously known as the "Queen of the Hills." Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind amidst the cool, misty mountain surroundings (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 04: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early in the morning, drive to Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga. On your return journey, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the famous Batasia Loop, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and the iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Return to the hotel for breakfast before continuing your sightseeing tour. Visit the peaceful Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, followed by the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays) and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays). Later, visit Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and enjoy an outer view of the world-famous Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Return to the hotel in the evening after an unforgettable day of exploration (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 05: DARJEELING – KALIMPONG SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the charming hill town of Kalimpong, often referred to as the "Land of Orchids." Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and later proceed for a sightseeing tour of the town. Visit the historic Dr. Graham's Homes, a renowned educational institution with beautiful colonial architecture and lush surroundings. Continue to the peaceful Mangal Dham, an important spiritual destination, followed by Deolo Hill, the highest point in Kalimpong, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and the Himalayas. Drive past the scenic Golf Course before visiting Durpin Dara Hill, famous for its monastery and spectacular viewpoints. If time permits, explore the Pine View Nursery (subject to operating timings), known for its rare collection of cacti, succulents, and ornamental plants. Return to the hotel after sightseeing (sightseeing as per time availability). Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 06: KALIMPONG – DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and bid farewell to the beautiful hills of Kalimpong. Proceed towards New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
