Tour Plan
Day 01: ARRIVAL - GANGTOK
Upon your arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, the vibrant capital of Sikkim. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Himalayan foothills, winding mountain roads, lush forests, and alongside the picturesque Teesta River. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, exploring the nearby markets or simply enjoying the cool mountain weather (sightseeing as per time compulsion). Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 02: EXCURSION TO TSONGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake situated at an altitude of approximately 15,100 feet. Surrounded by snow-clad mountains, the lake is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and spectacular Himalayan scenery. Guests may enjoy optional yak rides and capture memorable photographs amidst the pristine surroundings. Continue to the revered New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, located at an altitude of approximately 15,200 feet, where visitors pay tribute to the legendary Indian Army soldier. After enjoying the serene mountain atmosphere, return to Gangtok by evening (sightseeing as per time compulsion). Overnight stay in Gangtok. Note: Visits to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir are subject to permit approval from the Tourism Department and prevailing weather conditions. During heavy snowfall, vehicles will be permitted only up to the designated Snow Point.
Day 03: GANGTOK – NAMCHI – RAVANGLA – PELLING
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards the beautiful hill town of Pelling. En route, visit the magnificent Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham) at Namchi, a renowned pilgrimage site featuring replicas of India's sacred temples and breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges. Continue your journey to Ravangla and explore the serene Buddha Park, home to a majestic Buddha statue surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and tranquil mountain scenery. Later, drive to Pelling, where you will check in to your hotel and relax amidst the peaceful surroundings (sightseeing as per time compulsion). Overnight stay in Pelling.
Day 04: PELLING HALF-DAY SIGHTSEEING – DARJEELING
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin a half-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the famous Skywalk and the towering Chenrezig Statue, where the glass bridge offers thrilling panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga. Continue to the historic Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim's oldest and most revered Buddhist monasteries, followed by the ancient Rabdentse Ruins, the former capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim. If time permits, enjoy a peaceful walk through the Pelling Bird Sanctuary, known for its rich biodiversity and natural beauty. Later, proceed to Darjeeling, the charming "Queen of the Hills." Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening (sightseeing as per time compulsion). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 05: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early in the morning, drive to Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the return journey, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the famous Batasia Loop, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and the iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Return to the hotel for breakfast before continuing your city tour. Visit the peaceful Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, followed by the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays) and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays). Later, explore Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and enjoy an outer view of the lush Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Return to the hotel in the evening and spend the remaining time at leisure (sightseeing as per time compulsion). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 06: DARJEELING - DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and bid farewell to the enchanting hills of Darjeeling. Drive comfortably to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey, carrying home unforgettable memories of snow-capped mountains, sacred monasteries, scenic lakes, vibrant culture, and the timeless beauty of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
