Day 01: ARRIVAL AT INDORE – UJJAIN
Upon arrival at Indore Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed to the sacred city of Ujjain, one of the seven holiest cities in India and home to the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. After checking in to your hotel, begin your spiritual journey with a visit to the Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Continue to the revered Harsiddhi Temple, an important Shakti Peetha famous for its spectacular evening lamp ceremony, followed by the magnificent Mahakal Lok Corridor, adorned with grand sculptures, mythological murals, and beautifully landscaped pathways. Later, visit the sacred Shipra River Ghats, Ram Ghat, the historic Sandipani Ashram, where Lord Krishna is believed to have received his education, and the famous Bada Ganesh Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Ujjain.
Day 02: UJJAIN – OMKARESHWAR – MAHESHWAR
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Maheshwar, with an en-route visit to the sacred town of Omkareshwar, situated on the holy Mandhata Island in the Narmada River. Seek blessings at the revered Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas, followed by a visit to the holy Mamleshwar Temple, traditionally considered an essential part of the pilgrimage. You may also enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Narmada River (direct payment if applicable) and witness the serene beauty of the sacred ghats. Later, continue your journey to Maheshwar, the historic capital of the Holkar dynasty, renowned for its riverside temples, spiritual ambiance, and world-famous handwoven Maheshwari sarees. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Maheshwar.
Day 03: MAHESHWAR – INDORE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and explore the cultural treasures of Maheshwar. Visit the magnificent Ahilya Fort & Palace, overlooking the sacred Narmada River and reflecting the glorious legacy of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar. Continue to the ancient Kaleshwar Temple and Rajrajeshwar Temple, both dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend some peaceful moments at the scenic Narmada Ghats, known for their spiritual atmosphere and mesmerizing riverside views. You may also visit the local weaving centers to witness the craftsmanship behind the world-famous Maheshwari Handloom Sarees. Later, drive to Indore, the cleanest city in India and a vibrant blend of royal heritage and modern lifestyle. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay in Indore.
Day 04: INDORE CITY TOUR – DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and explore the major attractions of Indore. Visit the magnificent Rajwada Palace, the historic residence of the Holkar dynasty (closed on Mondays), followed by the elegant Lal Bagh Palace, renowned for its royal architecture and lush gardens (closed on Mondays). Continue to the stunning Kanch Mandir, an extraordinary Jain temple decorated entirely with glass and mirrors, and conclude your tour with blessings at the famous Khajrana Ganesh Temple, one of Indore's most revered pilgrimage sites. Later, transfer to Indore Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with cherished memories of your spiritual and cultural exploration of Madhya Pradesh.
