Day-wise plan

Day 1 – Arrival in Coorg: Arrive in Coorg, check in and rest. Visit Abbey Falls, then watch the sunset at Raja's Seat in Madikeri.

Day 2 – Mandalpatti, Golden Temple and Dubare: An early start for the sunrise at Mandalpatti, then the Golden Temple at Bylakuppe and Dubare Elephant Camp. Overnight in Coorg.

Day 3 – Departure: After breakfast and check-out, drop for your onward journey.

What to know before you book

Check the Inclusions and Exclusions on this page for meals, entry fees, jeep rides and GST.
The road to Mandalpatti is steep and often needs a local jeep, and may be closed in heavy rain. Sunrise views depend on mist and cloud on the day.
What you can do at Dubare, such as feeding, bathing or a boat crossing, depends on forest department rules and the season. Please ask us what is available on your dates.
Abbey Falls is best in and after the monsoon and may have much less water in summer.
The Golden Temple is a monastery, so dress modestly and keep your voice low inside.
Coorg is cooler than the plains, especially early morning, so carry a light jacket. Roads are winding, so carry medicines if you get motion sickness.
Ask us for hotel or homestay names, pick-up point and drop point before you pay.

Best time to visit Coorg

October to March is the most comfortable season, with cooler weather and clearer views. June to September is the monsoon: Coorg is very green and the waterfalls are full, but heavy rain, fog and leeches can affect sightseeing and the Mandalpatti road. April and May are warmer, with the lowest water flow at the falls.

No rides are listed. Activities at Dubare depend on forest department rules, so please ask us before travel.

Day 01: ARRIVAL MYSORE - COORG

• Upon your arrival in Mysore (airport/railway station), you will meet our representative who will transfer you to Coorg and Enroute visit Kaveri Nisargadhama Forest Park, Namdroling Monastery Golden Temple and After a warm check-in, relax in the hotel and visit Rajas tomb Hilltop site from the 1800s with 3 royal tombs with ornately entrances plus gardens & city views retire for a comfortable sleep. Day 02: COORG SIGHTSEEINGS

• After a delicious breakfast today, proceed for a full day sightseeing in Coorg. Begin with proceeding on for some sightseeing at the visit natural, spiritual, and historic attractions like Omkareshwara Temple, Abbey waterfalls, Brahmagiri Hill and Talacauvery. You will also get to enjoy a coffee plantation tour and attend a coffee tasting session. Post this, you will be transferred back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. Day 03: DEPARTURE

• After one last delicious breakfast in Coorg, checkout from your hotel and proceed to Mysore and visit Mysore Zoo and Mysore palace (If time permits) and later drop to Bus stand for your journey back home. (Sightseeing Will Depend As Per Time Complusion)
