Why a shorter package can cost more

Hotel category explains it. Experience Goa Beyond the Ordinary (2N/3D, ₹13,100) and A Premium Escape to Paradise (3N/4D, ₹18,200) list a Premium Hotel. The others list a hotel without a category.

• Experience Goa Beyond the Ordinary costs ₹550 less than the 4N/5D Experience the Soul of Coastal Paradise (₹13,650). That is two fewer nights, in exchange for a Premium Hotel.
• A Premium Escape to Paradise costs ₹6,500 more than Escape to the Shores of Paradise (₹11,700). Both are 3N/4D, so the gap is the hotel upgrade.

Ask for hotel names and locations before you decide. Premium is worth paying for if you will spend real time at the hotel. If you will be out all day, extra nights may serve you better.

Flights from Hyderabad to Goa

Direct flights take roughly 1 hour 10 to 15 minutes. One-way fares in third-party estimates run about ₹4,500 to ₹11,000, so a return ticket is roughly ₹9,000 to ₹22,000 per person. Fares vary by date.

• Airlines: Route data lists direct flights by IndiGo, Air India Express and Air India. Check current schedules.
• Two airports: Dabolim (GOI) in South Goa and Manohar International (GOX) at Mopa in North Goa. Leisure Trips' Goa itineraries describe arrival at Dabolim airport, so confirm the airport before you book flights.
• Transfer time: The first day's beaches, Baga and Calangute, are in North Goa. Expect a road transfer of an hour or more from Dabolim, depending on traffic.
• When to book: Third-party route data lists January as the most expensive month and August as the cheapest, and suggests booking around 50 days ahead. Treat this as a pattern, not a rule.
• By road, bus or train: About 600 to 650 km and roughly 10 hours by car. Buses take around 18 hours on the listed service, and trains usually take a day or more. These are cheaper but cost you a day each way.

• November to February: Peak season and the most comfortable weather. Flights and hotels cost more, and January is listed as the priciest month for flights. Book early.
• March to May: Hot and humid, with fewer crowds. Good if you will spend most of the time at the beach or pool.
• June to September: Monsoon. Prices and flights are lower, but rain and rough seas can pause beach shacks and water sports. Plan flexibly.
